Organising Analytics

Service in a Nutshell

Analyses are normally based on case-specific examination of the matter under focus. In order to improve competitiveness it is necessary to move from case-specific analyses to a more process-oriented approach where the roles and responsibilities of various actors and the required human and IT resources are clearly defined.

Several companies have developed so-called information factory processes (known as Shared Services) but the organisation of information refining functions has often been inadequate. The objective of the service is to combine efficient basic processes with efficient analytical processes, thereby improving the competitiveness of the company.

The development of analytical processes is the first step towards efficient analytical functions. This ensures the continuity of the operations even after closure of the development project.
